Shilpa Shetty Kundra Gives Major Yoga Goals To Her Fans

Amid the hurry to make ends meet during COVID-19 lockdown, Bollywood queen Shilpa Shetty Kundra was viewed motivating fans to find a balance “whether fixed or while moving.” Setting fan’s hearts aflutter, Shilpa was viewed displaying her killer abs as she nailed the tree pose or Vrikshasana.

Shilpa shared the picture on her Instagram handle, featuring her in the middle of the woods and densely growing trees. Wearing a floral print sports bra, coupled with yoga pants of similar design, Shilpa seemed beautiful as she balanced herself on one leg, with the other one folded and sustained on her inner thigh.

Stretching out her hands above her head and pointing them straight upwards, the yoga queen held them together in Anjali mudra. Looking in the distance, she substituted the weight to her left leg while the right knee was bent in the half-lotus position.

Shilpa wrote in the caption, “Balance’ is the ability to regulate your body’s position, whether stationary or while moving. It is an important component of fitness, along with strength, endurance, and flexibility.”

Talking about this Yoga asana’s benefits, she said, “Vrikshasana, or the tree pose, is a kind of Hatha yoga asana that operates on enhancing the body’s balancing abilities. It stimulates the thighs, calves, & ankles and helps in improving focus. The shift of the complete body’s weight to each leg also helps strengthen the ligament of the feet. It also helps in building self-confidence and self-esteem because it aligns & calms the body, mind, & spirit.”

Classifying our fitness goals this Monday, Shilpa concluded, “Donate a few minutes to yoga every morning to deliver a boost of energy to the beginning of your day.”
