After launching the first smart TV series in the year 2020, OnePlus is ready to move to the wearable segment in India with a fitness band. The company has commenced revealing the band on Twitter and revealed its design and key details. The tweet states, “This year, we are here to assist you to achieve all your fitness goals and make your life easier” along with the hashtag #SmartEverywear.”
While we don’t know when specifically the band will hit the market, the teaser image hints that it will feature a rectangular display similar to Xiaomi’s Mi Band series. The band will enable a sleep tracking system that would provide you information on your sleep quality.
Now that the company has confirmed the entry of its first fitness band, it is possible to release more teasers in the following days to promote the launch in the country.
Someone shared images of the OnePlus Band on Twitter and hinted that the device will feature colorful straps with a minimalistic design and a tall-colored screen. It will have a design language considerably related to that of the Mi Band 5.
With the launch of the OnePlus Band, it will target budget-conscious buyers and develop its portfolio in the Indian market.
