With nepotism being the trending topic, it has become all the more difficult to maintain legacies. And if you are the son of the cricketing god in a cricket-obsessed country, the path is not easy. You must have already guessed that we are talking about none other than Arjun Tendulkar.

Even before he set his foot on the cricket field, there were comparisons, expectations, and lot more. “Son of God” is how is Arjun is most often identified as. Will he be able to surpass his father’s achievements? Will he break his records? Is he going to be a batsman like his father?

Arjun is practising by bowling to the women’s team preparing for the world cup. He also participated in an NCA residential camp in Dharamshala. Arjun’s pace and accuracy has improved tremendously in the last few years.

At the Cooch Behar Trophy 2017-18, he took 19 wickets in just 5 games for Mumbai Under-19 and impressed everyone.

He has also experimented with his batting. He opened for CCI XI in Adelaide and scored 48.

Arjun was also picked up to play against Namibia in England as a part of the MCC Under-19 squad. He picked up four wickets in the game. The youngster then made his U-19 India debut against Sri Lanka in 2019.
