10X Fitness Opens Despite Of The Government Orders

Despite a statewide order that gyms must stay closed until January 4 to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the Mountain Top and Taylor locations of 10X Fitness has been opened on Saturday. Daniel Cronauer, co-owner of 10X Fitness, stated that he decided the reopening nine days before the state order expires for the welfare of the fitness centers’ members and employees.

The forced closure fined $100,000 to 10X fitness and that was a huge amount that can’t be sustained by the small business owners at that level.

Also, exercise serves to manage conditions such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and depression that decreases the effects of COVID-19, Cronauer said.

“The best way to combat against the novel virus is to be healthy.” During the statewide shutdown that began in March, 10X Fitness shortly opened its Taylor location did not open the location in Fairview Twp.

The Taylor location shut down again in May after borough police issued citations for violations of the Disease Prevention and Control Act of 1955 and the state Department of Health orders. As of Sunday, the fitness center was open and it was the second day, Cronauer said he had not heard anything from Fairview Twp. police or officials.10X Fitness Opens Despite Of The Government Orders
