As the ‘Queen’ wrapped up the shoot for Thalaivi in Hyderabad in October, Kangana Ranaut shared a glimpse of her workout with her inspirational note on gaining 20 kgs for the upcoming movie and the “journey back to fit body”. She left almost every fitness enthusiast impressed with her “superhuman” weight management journey. Kangana Ranaut shared the fitness challenges and hard work of shooting for the J Jayalalithaa biopic.

Leading to her Twitter handle, the bold actress shared a slew of pictures, from her magazine cover shoot to nailing the incredible look of the former chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Jayalalithaa, and following the Bharatanatyam steps. In the caption, Manikarnika shared, “I played the first superhuman girl on Indian screen, thanks to my body a rare combination of dainty yet strong looking.”

She added, “In my 30’s I had to gain 20 kgs for Thalaivi n do Bharatnatyam, it left my back severely damaged but no bigger gratification than to play a role to perfection” and punctuated her claim with a smiley emoji.

Her tweet got 14.7k likes, and 1.2k people are tweeting about her inspirational, transformational journey. Kangana’s Thalaivi may hit the screens in 2021. She has always been open to the struggle she did with her fitness for a particular role.
