An ardent fitness enthusiast and a Type 1 diabetic athlete, Paul McLoughlin has launched his own natural Sports nutrition products, Natural Ambition, in Wrexham.
The 41 year old, McLoughlin had to maintain his diet keeping an eye over his diabetes condition sufficing his athlete body calorie needs.
After consuming super-foods and maintaining a clean diet, he found out that these stuffs enhance his athletic performance, regulating his blood glucose levels.
However, owing to sheer unavailability of suitable organic sports nutrition and supplements he took to develop his own products- and created Natural ambition in Wrexham.
He said: “I’ve always been involved in sports including running events, off road biking and CrossFit, but I could not take many supplements.
“I wanted something pure and natural to enhance my athletic performance and to be beneficial to the control of my condition I know which foods to use to provide nutrients to benefit the different aspects of athletic development, whether it’s for muscle gain and repair, hydration, energy or recovery.
“With my business experience and knowledge of nutrition I decided to develop my brand of products, Natural Ambition.”
He added: “These are not diabetic products, but products developed for athletes and everyday warriors.”
Natural Ambition has launched two products: Organic Whey Protein with Pure Cacoa, and Organic Coconut Water Powder & Orange.
They are available via the Natural Ambition website and also sold at a growing number of CrossFit gyms and smaller retailers.
