CycleBar Enters Into A Partnership With Magee-Womens Research Institute and Women Who Rock

CycleBar, one of the indoor cycling brands would be partnering with Magee-Womens Research Institute (MWRI) and Women Who Rock, in which it seeks to raise awareness as well as funds which is planned to be used for life-saving women’s health research. The National Ovarian and Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month falls in the month of September. CycleBar is set to educate its riders across the coast regarding the work that has been happening at MWRI. Moreover, it would be specifically dealing with cervical, ovarian and uterine cancer.

CycleBar is one of the biggest brand in terms of the number of studios. It offers a diverse set of high-intensity indoor cycling workouts considered to be of low impact. They are included for all fitness levels. The experience offered by the brand is immersive, especially with its state-of-the-art “CycleTheaters”. Moreover, it also offers a multi-sensory experience as well as specially trained instructors. Additionally, CycleBar comes with high energy “CycleBeats” playlists and can also be tracked by using rider-specific “CycleStat” performance metrics. The headquarters of CycleBar is located at Irvine, CA and this brand is backed by Xponential Fitness who is the biggest franchisor of boutique fitness brands.

The researchers of MWRI have been trying to understand the main causes for the spread of ovarian cancer, including its re-occurrence after treatment. In addition to that, they have also been examining the reasons for failure of chemotherapy in the cases of certain types of gynecologic cancers. Moreover, new drugs are being developed to directly target ovarian cancer stem cells.

Women Who Rock would be involved in powering of a playlist that would be of high voltage and would be featuring every female artist. These would be available for every rider. In addition to that, Women Who Rock would be partnering with all parties to create an online awareness campaign.

Melinda Colaizzi, Founder of Women Who Rock stated that they were thankful to have amazing partners such as CycleBar, particularly in this case, where health and wellness is at the core of what it has been standing for.
